When i thought we would finally see a ritual summon in a Rush Duel, it was a special summon in the end.

At least, Black Luster got featured in Rush Duels in some form.

Even though the artwork looks nerfed compared to the original, even the atk stats. Although the older monster got some good new looks and effects.

Was not expecting to see the first ritual summon in Rush Duels this episode, Black Luster Jersey got a good laugh out of me lol. Also can't believe this goofy jersey alien almost beat Yuudias.

Well there was no way to know what the effect, trigger or cost of that trap card was. For all he knew it could have had the condition to have monsters on the field while his opponent special summons a monster. It was slightly more likely to have the condition and effect it had, but not that much more so it was only a minor misplay.
